About Detector

When using a conventional metal detector, the ground mineralization interferes with the signal, which substantially limits the depth at which a nugget can be detected. The SD 2100v2 uses Minelab's exclusive technology known as Multi Period Sensing (MPS). This enables the SD 2100v2 to minimize the effects of mineralization, to penetrate deeper, and to provide you with an interference free signal. This effectively has overcome the problem of ground noise, and it only produces a signal on actual metal targets, such as a gold nugget.

Ideal for the beginner or experienced prospector. Supplied with the versatile 11" Double-D coil (other coils available as accessories) the ergonomically balanced "S-bend" shaft and the 12 Ah battery and pouch, makes the Minelab SD 2100v2 a comfortable, lightweight machine.
